It Is Okay To Do Nothing When You Don’t Want To
So amidst the lockdown, everyone around me was being productive in their own arenas and some were even trying to step out of the box. There were people pursuing online courses, some learning to code, some were busy with the ‘Work from home’ battles, some were winning their victories over the kitchen and many scrolled kilometres with their fingers on their smart phone screen. There was constant consumption of content, information happening. Though the world had slowed down, many took this opportunity to fast forward. Doctors were battling with the Pandemic and here I was trying to battle the over productive peer pressure that I was engaging myself in. There was constant chaos in my mind on things that I was missing on, the way I felt I was under utilising my time and the fear of losing out in the race. But I will be honest, I did not feel the slightest urge to even try anything different or learn something new. I just wanted to slow down my life. Slow down with the world and pace
